Red Hat Information Security Sinkhole

The Red Hat Information Risk and Security team prevents systems on our networks from accessing certain domains. We do this in order to protect Red Hat systems and data.

This blocking is achieved by a DNS Sinkhole. A sinkhole redirects certain domains at this internal system rather than allowing connections out to the actual (malicious) system on the Internet.

The Information Risk and Security Team blocks access to domains which:

The InfoSec team will, at the request of the policy owner, disable access to domains which are contrary to Red Hat's polices.
